MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. 236 HAZARD VULNERABILITY ANALYSIS POLICY: • A hazard vulnerability analysis is performed by the Safety Officer to identify areas of vulnerability so that provisions may be undertaken to lessen the severity and/or impact of an emergency. • During the hazard vulnerability analysis the following are considered potential emergencies for this Agency: • (List the types of emergencies that may affect your Agency and the patients served, i.e., acts of terrorism, including bioterrorism (i.e., chemical) and physical acts (i.e., acts that result in physical damage and may include severe injury and loss of life), hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, hailstorms, bombs.) • The Agency’s buildings and grounds have been evaluated for vulnerability to the above listed emergencies. Weaknesses have been listed and provisions undertaken to reduce the severity or impact of a potential emergency. • Priorities are established from the hazard vulnerability analysis for which mitigation, preparation, response and recovery activities will need to be undertaken.
