MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. 4. Dry thoroughly with face towel. b. Care of Equipment 1. Clean and put equipment back in proper place, discard soiled linen in hamper and remove from the room. 2. Make bed according to procedure for occupied bed or open bed if patient is ambulatory. 3. Place face towel under patient's head and comb hair; put towel with soiled linen. 4. Attach signal cord, if any, within patient's reach. 5. Dust bedside table and chair with dampened cloth and arrange in proper position. 6. Hang clean towels and wash cloth nearby.
