MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. PERSONNEL INFECTION CONTROL It shall be the policy of MDT Home Health Care Agency, Inc. that any personnel showing symptoms or signs of communicable disease or infected skin lesions shall not be permitted to work. In the event that any of the above conditions exists, the employee may not return to his/her job unless he/she has a doctor's certificate stating that he/she is free from a communicable disease. There shall be close observation of patients and employees. Any suspected infections are referred to outside resources and Health Department for assistance. Each field employee is required to have an annual physical examination by his/her physician. The examination report must include that the field employee is free from communicable diseases or infectious disease. These reports will be kept on file in the field employee's personnel folder, in a separate envelope labeled “Confidential”. Home Health Agency Nursing Care & Procedures K-81
